Life Coaching | Creativity Support | Soul Work | Grief Tending

Hi, I’m Sas!

I specialize in empowering people to liberate themselves from perfectionism, self-criticism, insecurities and self-doubt. These negative forces are often caused by painful experiences that we tend to try to ignore or force our way through, but such coping mechanisms can often do more harm than good.

I strive to create a very safe space to explore these tender places with warmth and kindness. This nourishing process of soul work can be groundbreaking, opening up our choices and endeavors in new and joyful ways.

Too frequently we will cast out some of the most beautiful parts of ourselves because of something that was said or implied by an unreliable source. But by befriending the parts of you that were lost, abandoned, rejected, hurt or shamed in the past, you can release the loops of judgment or self-doubt that are holding you back now.

It’s so redemptive to find the truest parts of yourself and bring them home. This work is about rediscovering these beautiful aspects of yourself so that you can offer them to your art, the world and your relationships.

A Sanctuary for the Soul

Whether artist or athlete, CEO or student, or anyone in between, one common thread I find among us is an immense amount of self-doubt and negative self-talk.

Even the most successful people can experience the unsettling reverberations of current, past or perceived criticisms on a daily basis – consciously or subconsciously. And these hold us back.

If you’ve ever been marginalized, dismissed, bullied, unfairly blamed, or yelled at, then you know how old phrases can get stuck in your head even when you don’t want them to.

Unfortunately, far too many people live their whole lives within the confines of such harmful words.

This might result in you being caught in feedback loops of perfectionism or self-criticism, or feeling like you have to keep proving yourself (but to whom?).

Perhaps you’re continually comparing yourself to others, worried that you don’t measure up. Or maybe you’re unable to start or try, without quite knowing why. If any of this resonates, you’ve come to the right place.

Co-creating a Safe Space

I’d venture to say that if you’re human, you probably know what it feels like to be vulnerable. The problem is that the pace of our culture often doesn’t allow for the processing of difficult and real human experiences. Because of that, these experiences can haunt us via negative thoughts, self-criticism, and other unproductive patterns

You may have been taught to push through or shake off moments of vulnerability. While both of those methods can be useful, they still don’t free you from the stickiness of the internal repercussions nor the frequency with which they barrage your mind.

Sometimes these vulnerabilities are situational, while other times they may stem from old wounds or memories. Whatever the case, if something arises, we will touch this space with care and gentleness.

We will also nudge and dislodge the old, false narratives that have been limiting you. Interestingly, many are not even aware that old stories have been bringing them down until they start to break free of them.

Most importantly, you will see that shame doesn’t have to exist here.

With warm understanding, your vulnerabilities can become your allies, transforming into messages for self-growth or medicines for you to give the world.

Work With Me

Working in this nuanced and beautiful territory is an honor that I don’t take lightly. Together we’ll investigate old stories, witness wounds, and bring a larger context to the vulnerable areas. You’ll be amazed at how much intelligence can be excavated here. Let’s find your way back to a more expressed and confident, freer and truer version of yourself.
